I’m really pleased to announce a brand NEW radio show for the festive season: A Special Thistle & Shamrock Christmas. Join me for a Midwinter walk along the banks of the River Tay in Scotland, accompanied by music from the Celtic Christmas repertoire including: Jerry Read Smith, Sting, Tim Edey, Emily Smith, Kim Robertson, Al Petteway & Amy White, Joel Mabus, and Hanneke Cassel. We’ll explore the Celtic winter legend of the Cailleach, and hear from the poetry of Jon Plunkett, Stephanie Norgate, and Robert Frost.
